Discovery Cove's pages do not state a percentage or price for the discount; you see the military rate after you sign in. 1. Open Discovery Cove's military discount page and choose the active-duty or veterans offer. 2. Sign in or create an ID.me account and verify your military or veteran status. 3. Choose Day Resort Admission or the Signature Dolphin Swim Package at the military rate and book your date. 4. Bring your military ID to reception. ## Who qualifies - U.S. active-duty military - Activated or drilling reservists - National Guard - Veterans and retirees Active duty can bring up to three direct dependents; veterans and retirees can bring up to three guests (limit of 4 in total). Spouses sign in under the service member's or veteran's ID.me account. Discovery Cove's active-duty page says inactive, standby and retired reserve members, the U.S. Merchant Marine and civilian DoD workers are not eligible for the active-duty offer. Veterans without a military ID can prove status with VA's digital card: see [how to get a Veteran ID Card](https://www.getbasepass.com/guides/veteran-id-card). ## Exclusions and limits - Limit of 4 discounted reservations: the member plus up to three dependents or guests. - The veteran or service member must be present with their guests at the park. - Veteran rates are available through December 31, 2026. - Discovery Cove is not part of the free Waves of Honor admission offered at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens. ## Tips before you pay - Discovery Cove is a reservation-only day resort in Orlando, so book your date early; the military rate is applied when you book, not at the gate. - If you want free admission instead, active duty can use the Waves of Honor ticket at SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay; it does not cover Discovery Cove. ## Good to know Discovery Cove's military pages describe the offer as discounted rates without naming an amount. Compare the military price against Discovery Cove's regular and Florida resident rates before you book. ## Source Checked on November 2, 2026 against [Discovery Cove's official page](https://discoverycove.com/orlando/special-offers/military-discount/active/), [Discovery Cove veterans offers](https://discoverycove.com/orlando/special-offers/military-discount/veterans/), [Waves of Honor (all parks)](https://unitedparks.com/programs/waves-of-honor/).
