How to get the Apple military discount
Purchases happen in a special online storefront. Apple says Apple Store and regular Apple Online Store purchases are not eligible for this discounted pricing.
- Open Apple's Veterans and Military store page.
- Select Verify with ID.me and sign in with your ID.me account, or create one during the process.
- After you are verified, shop in the Veterans and Military storefront and check out there.
Who qualifies
- Current members of the U.S. Military, National Guard and Reserve
- Veteran members of the U.S. Military, National Guard and Reserve
- Immediate family members who reside in the same household
Veterans without a military ID can prove status with VA's digital card: see how to get a Veteran ID Card.
Exclusions and limits
- ZEISS Optical Inserts (Prescription) are excluded from discount programs.
- Apple Card Monthly Installments are not available as a payment type in the special storefront.
- Purchases made at an Apple Store or the regular Apple Online Store do not get the storefront's discounted pricing.
Tips before you pay
- Decide where you will buy before you start. A cart built in the regular Apple Online Store will not carry the discount over.
- If you want to pay with Apple Card Monthly Installments, Apple says to use the regular store, which means giving up the discounted pricing.
- Apple offers chat and a phone line (1-800-MY-APPLE) on the program page if verification stalls.
