How this military discounts list works

Most military discount lists copy each other, and offers drift out of date quickly. This one works the other way round. A brand only appears here after we read its current policy on its own website, and each page records the date we did that. Basepass is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by any brand listed. We do not set these offers and cannot guarantee them, so confirm on the brand's page before you buy.

How military verification usually works

A discount is only useful if you can prove you qualify, and brands handle that in three main ways.

Stacking rules and spouse eligibility

Two details trip people up more than the headline percentage. First, stacking: many brands say their military discount cannot be combined with sales or other offers, so a sale price may beat the discount. Second, eligibility: some programs cover spouses or dependents, while others require the service member to be the account holder, as T-Mobile and Verizon do. The quick-facts box on each page spells out both.

A few brands do not run a standing percent-off at all. Target, for instance, verifies military status through Target Circle and gives verified members bonuses during campaigns. We mark those clearly instead of implying a year-round discount.

Military discounts FAQ

What is the best way to verify for military discounts?

It depends on the brand. Some use ID.me, some use SheerID, and some only ask to see an ID at the register. Each brand page in this list names the method the brand states, so you know what to bring before you go.

Do military discounts apply to spouses and family?

Sometimes. Lowe's and Home Depot name spouses, Apple covers immediate family in the same household, and Target covers one dependent. Others, like Verizon, require the military member to apply. Check the eligibility section on each brand page.

Can I stack a military discount with sales or coupons?

Often not. Lowe's, for example, says its discount cannot be used on sale items or with any other discount. Treat every discount as non-stackable until the brand's own terms say otherwise.

Does a brand missing from this list have no military discount?

No. A brand is only listed after we can read its current policy on its own official site. Many brands block automated checks or do not publish a clear policy, so absence from this list says nothing about whether a discount exists.

How often is this list updated?

Every brand page shows the date we last read the brand's official page. Offers change, so confirm on the brand's site before you buy.
