Your information is not inventory.

This Privacy Policy explains how Reelpop Media LLC, doing business as Benefitsbase, handles information when you visit the site, complete a benefits check, use the app, receive our emails, or purchase a membership.

Effective date: August 6, 2026. We review this policy when our data practices change and at least annually.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to provide and the information needed to operate the funnel:

• Contact and transaction information: email address, funnel or referral identifiers, email-subscription status, purchase status, refund requests, and the checkout information Stripe makes available to us. Stripe processes payment-card details; Benefitsbase does not store full card numbers.
• Benefits-profile answers: service status or persona, branch, years of service, discharge type, VA disability-rating range, state, ZIP code, household composition, and the benefit priority you select. Some answers may reveal sensitive information about military service or disability. They are used to create an informational match, not an official determination.
• Campaign and usage information: UTM campaign parameters, pages viewed, buttons or quiz steps used, timestamps, referral activity, and technical or diagnostic information generated by the site, hosting provider, analytics tools, or payment provider.
• Browser storage: the funnel may use localStorage and sessionStorage to remember quiz progress, a temporary funnel session, referral information, and whether an event was already recorded.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, VA file numbers, login credentials, medical records, bank-account numbers, payment-card numbers, or other information that the quiz does not request. We do not intentionally collect precise location history, voice recordings, facial-recognition data, or children's information.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• calculate and display a personalized, informational benefits estimate;
• prioritize nearby discounts, free places, and benefit categories;
• email the breakdown, weekly briefing, product updates, and service messages you request or that relate to a purchase;
• process membership payments, verify purchases, and issue refunds;
• operate, secure, debug, measure, and improve the site and funnel;
• attribute campaigns and referrals using limited event data; and
• comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect the rights and safety of users and the business.

3. Email choices

If you submit your email for a breakdown, briefing, or membership offer, we may send the requested result and related Benefitsbase messages described at that point in the experience. Our marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. You can also use the unsubscribe page or email us at info@reelpop.co. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential transaction, refund, security, or service notices.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We share information only as needed for the purposes above and with service providers acting on our instructions. Service providers may include hosted PostgreSQL storage and hosting, Resend for email delivery, Stripe for payments and refunds, Mixpanel for product analytics, and Meta Pixel or similar conversion tools when enabled. These providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

We configure analytics events so that email addresses and raw quiz answers are not sent as event properties. Limited identifiers, campaign attributes, page paths, and conversion details may still be processed for measurement. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the service, or as part of a merger, financing, sale, or other business transfer.

5. Sale, targeted advertising, and sensitive information

Reelpop Media LLC does not sell personal information for money. We do not use your email address or raw quiz answers as analytics event properties. If advertising or conversion tools are enabled, limited browser, device, and event information may be disclosed for measurement or attribution. Depending on where you live, that disclosure may be considered sharing or targeted advertising. You can request that we stop it by emailing info@reelpop.co.

We use profile answers, including answers that may concern military service or a disability-rating range, only to provide and improve the requested informational experience, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not use them to make decisions that determine your eligibility for government benefits, credit, employment, housing, insurance, or other legal or similarly significant outcomes.

6. Retention and security

We retain profile, contact, subscription, purchase, and event information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, send requested communications, administer refunds, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with law. We periodically review information and delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed, subject to legal and operational exceptions.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the type of information we handle. No online service or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and whether a privacy law applies to our business, you may have the right to access or confirm processing of your information, correct it, delete it, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale or targeted advertising, limit the use of sensitive information, or opt out of certain profiling. You may also have the right to appeal a decision on a privacy request and to receive equal treatment for exercising your rights.

Send a request to info@reelpop.co with the subject “Privacy request.” Tell us what you are asking for and the email address or other information associated with your interaction. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny a request where an appeal is available, reply to our response with “Privacy appeal.”

8. Children

Benefitsbase is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. International visitors

Reelpop Media LLC is based in the United States. If you use the site from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or another country whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use an appropriate legal basis and applicable transfer safeguards.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and change the effective date. Questions, requests, and privacy complaints should be sent to info@reelpop.co.
