Target military discount FAQ

Does Target have a military discount?

Target does not describe an always-on percent discount on its military pages. It verifies military status through Target Circle and says verified members receive a bonus when a campaign is live.

Who qualifies for Target's military verification?

Target says Target Circle members who are active or veteran service members, and one dependent, are eligible.

What documents does Target accept?

For service members, items such as a Leave and Earnings Statement, record briefs and enlistment contracts. For veterans and retirees, items such as a DD214, a driver's license with Veteran endorsement, a VA disability letter or a Veteran ID card. See Target's help article for the full list.

Why have I not received my Target military discount?

Target says the bonus appears only when a live campaign is running, and to allow up to 1 hour after verifying. If it still does not appear, confirm that verification succeeded or contact Target's Help Center.
